Overview of Westconsin Credit Union

Westconsin Credit Union was first established in the year 1939 and is based in the state of Wisconsin. The credit union currently has 19 branches and 410 employees. As of December 2021, the credit union has 111,230 members.

Who Can Join?

You are eligible to join WESTconsin Credit union by living or working within the field of  membership service area that includes the following counties:

  • Wisconsin—Barron, Buffalo, Burnett, Chippewa, Clark, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, Polk, Rusk, St. Croix, Sawyer, Taylor, Trempealeau and Washburn
  • Minnesota—Anoka, Chisago, Dakota, Goodhue, Isanti, Pine, Ramsey, Wabasha and Washington

If you are an employee or student of any university or technical college located in any of the counties in WESTconsin Credit union service area, then you are also eligible to join. If you are a member of the immediate family of a person eligible for membership or immediate family and relatives living in the same household, you are qualified for membership.

Organizations and entities are eligible for membership too if:

  • The organization, association of individuals or entity has a majority of the directors, owners or members of the organization or association eligible for membership
  • The organization, association or entity has a business location in the counties listed above
  • A trust has a majority of the persons who are settler(s), trustee(s) and beneficiary(ies) of the trust eligible for membership
